Hydrogen flare

AAT custom-built production for international research project

Hydrogen from renewable sources is seen as having great potential for decarbonising the gas supply and is therefore becoming increasingly important politically.
AAT supplied a hydrogen flare for the BioRoburPlus research project. The aim of the project is the decentralised production of pure hydrogen from biogas. For this purpose, biogas is converted in a steam reformer and then purified to 99.9% hydrogen. The AAT hydrogen flare ensures the necessary process safety and is equipped with a specially developed pilot/back-up burner.

Design data for the hydrogen flare:
Medium: Hydrogen/process gas
Flow: 100 m³/h
Height: 5.6 m
