Villa di Tirano (IT)

The first AAT biogas plant is located in Villa di Tirano. The start of construction was already in year 2008. The plant started up in September 2009. Using of 27.400 tons per year of substrates (cattle manure, pig manure, apple pomace, grass and maize silage) produce the biogas plant approx. 625 kW electricity. The waste heat is used for heating of existing pig fattning farm as well.
