The Landfrisch dairy has started the operation of a whey-based biogas plant and is thereby setting new standards in terms of sustainability and ecological operating methods for the European food industry.

This AAT-plant is unique in Europe. It is the result of joint research and development work and forms an important part of the comprehensive Landfrisch project that focuses on methods for processing whey.
